Praha (day 2)


Pražský Hrad (Prague Castle)
- the largest castle in the world (70 000 m²)


Katedrála svatého Víta (Saint Vitus Cathedral)
- a gothic cathedral located within Prague Castle
- construction began in 1344 and ended in 1929
- contains tombs of Bohemian Kings and Holy Roman Emperors

Karlův Most (Charles Bridge)
- built in the early 15th century 
- has 30 baroque style statues (15 on each side) 

Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého (Statue of St. John of Nepomuk)
- if you touch the golden dog and make a wish, it comes true

Socha sv. Kryštof (Statue of St. Christopher) 
- the saint holds baby Christ on his shoulder
