Sachsenhausen Nazi Concentration Camp
ARBEIT MACHT FREI = work sets you free (the biggest Nazi lie)
main entrance gate (watchtower A)
model layout of the camp
death strip : you'll be shot without a warning
Völkischer Beobachter: newspaper of the Nazi Party

Station Z
Station Z was the nickname that the SS gave to the execution site at Sachsenhausen. The name "Station Z" resulted from the fact that the tower above the entrance gate was named "A". As an intended joke; if the entrance was “A”, the first point, then the exit (the execution site) was “Z” – the last.
execution trench: where prisoners were shot
guards who couldn't look in the eyes of the prisoners went to the
others side of the fence and shot them in the head from behind
this gas chamber was also part of the "Station Z"
crematory ovens
medical experimentation on live bodies
morgue: where corpses were kept before burning
Death March:
In April 1945, the camp was evacuated and prisoners were forced to march northeast. Over 6000 of them who couldn't walk (30-40km a day) and fell on the ground were shot by the SS.
