after arriving early in the morning, 
first thing I saw in the city:

second thing I saw:
an old man walking his cat at 6am and it's on a leash!

strange thing: a brand new Mercedes stops for a hitchhiker!

and they picked me up to give me a ride across the border

strange thing #2: they spoke German!

strange thing #3: they bribed the customs police (only $10)

and we just drove by instead of waiting there for an hour
